Housing Stability Program: Helping Families Stay Housed

Rooted Minds Foundation is proud to help eligible Rhode Island individuals and families access support through the Housing Stability Program (HSP).

HSP may provide financial assistance to eligible households experiencing a housing crisis, including help with rental arrears or move-in costs. Eligibility requirements apply, and assistance is not guaranteed.

Since becoming an approved HSP submitter, Rooted Minds Foundation has helped individuals and families navigate the application process and has helped secure more than $13,000 in housing stability assistance for households facing housing crises.

Who May Be Eligible?

Applicants must meet program eligibility requirements, which may include being a Rhode Island resident, having household income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level, experiencing a qualifying housing crisis, and meeting additional household criteria such as having a minor child in the household, being pregnant, or being age 24 or younger.

Through personalized support, document collection, advocacy, and application assistance, Rooted Minds Foundation helps eligible households navigate the process from initial inquiry through submission.
