Rooted Minds Foundation was not just created—it was lived.

It comes from experience, from witnessing struggle up close, and from understanding what it feels like to navigate systems that often overlook the very people who need them most.

As a Black social worker serving underserved communities, I have seen how lack of access, stigma, and systemic barriers impact individuals and families every single day. But I have also seen resilience, strength, and the power of community.

This foundation was built to do things differently—to provide support that is not only accessible, but also culturally responsive, compassionate, and grounded in real understanding.

I created Rooted Minds Foundation to be the kind of support system I know our communities deserve.

Because healing is not surface-level.
Healing grows from the roots.
